³⁹ So He went into all of Galilee,^(A) preaching in their synagogues^(B) and driving out demons.

A Man Cleansed

⁴⁰ Then^(C) a man with a serious skin disease^(D) came to Him and, on his knees,^[a](E) begged Him: “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”^(F)

⁴¹ Moved with compassion,^(G) Jesus reached out His hand and touched^(H) him. “I am willing,” He told him. “Be made clean.”
